Poly-Kroma

Photographer, Visual Strategy

Poly-Kroma is an art exhibition featuring the work of Cal Poly Pomona’s Visual design students in the Kellogg Art Gallery. We have the opportunity to present our work to design professionals as well as friends and family.

My goal was to collaborate with a team of visual designers as well as photographer to establish a consistent style of photography for the headshots of the Poly-Kroma 2019 Seniors.

ROLE: Photographer / Photographic Direction

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Andrew Phan / Daniel Sandoval

PHOTOGRAPHY CONSULTANT: Juliana Rico

OUTCOME: Photographic portraits of 77 participating graduating seniors. The photography style chosen was to use red and blue gels to tie in the red and blue used in the Poly-Kroma imagery. The subjects are positioned to be looking off to the right to convey forward prosperity with a subtle rim light to highlight the outline of the students body.
